Overview

This article describes how to resolve an issue that occurs when configuring FaxMaker to archive faxes to GFI Archiver. 

DIagnosis

The following error will be shown:

Solution

GFI Archiver is configured to connect using SSL; however, the SSL Policy Certificate is not validated by GFI FaxMaker. 

Add a registry key to ignore SSL errors:

1. Press Ctrl + R.

2. Enter regedit.exe and click OK.

3. Navigate to the following location:

   • 32 bit: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\GFI Fax & Voice\FAXmaker\Config

   • 64 bit: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Wow6432Node\GFI Fax & Voice\FAXmaker\Config

4. Create a key named IgnoreSSLPolicyErrors and set the value of the key as 1.
